Chapter 72
I wake up in the morning feeling tired and mentally exhausted. I blame the night for that. I couldn't sleep at all and kept changing sides. The thoughts of Alex and Peter Pan storm my mind. Argh! I need to confront Alex and talk to him. He seemed normal for the time we talked about the key but I don't know what happened later that he started to act so—rude.
I pull off the bed sheet from my leg and walk off to the bathroom to take a shower. After the shower, I step out and find Tessa preparing herself for the class. She looks at me and smiles. "Good morning."
I yawn. "Morning."
She frowns. "Hey, are you alright? You look tired."
"Tell me about it. I couldn't sleep last night."
