It was a surprisingly quiet evening, so I should have known something was going to go wrong. Since Bo's mating ceremony was interrupted by the attack and the rogue band was decimated, everything had become increasingly calm. Tybris was growing restless and I was considering a run once our paperwork was done before settling in for the evening when a spark of anger flowed through the mate bond.
