Brent’s POV

We arrived at the Shadow pack and I can’t stop watching Jacob and Lucianna as they walked out of the car.

Jacob looked annoyed, continually frowning but there’s a ghost of smile in his lips while Lucianna was grinning wide behind him. They are walking towards their house now.

The both of them is too bright that everyone will tell something good has happened.

“We’ll head back to the Hall now, Alpha Jacob.” said Shink, the head of the guards. We came with him and Cidrey, the head of the trackers.

I was walking closer to Jacob and glanced at Lucianna who seems to forgot something inside the car.

“Alright. Meeting will be held tomorrow, resume your works for today.”

Shink bowed and started to walk away.
