They reached the cave in less than fifteen minutes. When they reached near the cave, Dominique said acerbically, “You can go back to your pack. We can take care of her from here.”
Not happy over his statement and wondering why he would say that, Ryder snapped, “I will stay where the pup stays.”
Dominique grunted. “Why do I have a feeling that she is in this situation because of you?” He touched the girl's hair that was sticking to Ryder’s forearm.
