#Chapter 63 (Deonna) - Captured

I had never seen so many slaves and commoners running through the kingdom and attacking before. It was nearly a blood bath. The king and the duke had their men firing their firearms and killing people on contact. The sounds of the explosions were ear-shattering and Mateo was screaming in my arms.

The slaves fighting were so young; they were fresh from the farms. I noticed some familiar faces of those she bunked with during my time on the slave farm. I saw mostly unfamiliar faces though; not all of them were from the farm. There were a lot of older slaves that were from different villages and even commoners as well.

I was amazed at the turnout of everyone wanting to fight for their freedom. I couldn’t believe, out of all wolves, Marlon was the one who made this happen. He emerged from the woods with an army of slaves and commoners, and they were ready to fight. None of them cared if they died while fighting; they just wanted their rights back.

They outnumbered the duke and king’s armie
