Chapter 133

I looked in the rearview mirror and saw the entire convoy behind us. We had multiple trucks fulled with supplies and then a ton of Hummers. It looked like we were moving an army, which we were, but it was odd seeing that behind you as we drove down seaside road. Zeke pointed out farther down the road and there were two figures standing on the cliffside of the road.

‘Mom, set up the portal. We are close.’ I reached out to her through the Alpha King link.

Usually, it felt weird reaching out to people who weren’t part of the pack. I felt it when I mind-linked Hector now but with Mom is was as easy as mind-linking Zeke.

The road ahead started to shimmer and I held tight to the steering wheel. The flash of light from the truck that was headed towards us filled my mind as the memory haunted me. Zeke grabbed my wrist and I blinked. The fear and the lights disappeared as the portal grew and shimmered blue. Steeling myself, I continued to drive down the road, steadying the speed.

Can you feel it? We are almost there! I'm not going to make you guys wait till next week but this will be the last update for this evening. It's 1am my time and I've tapped out. There is only so much caffeine in the house I can consume. I'll be updating over this week though and finishing up this story for you all! <3
