She tried to move but it was as if something heavy was keeping her in place. She blinked her eyes open only to wince in pain as the vein in her head throbbed.

Something was close to her face. She blinked twice to get rid of her blurry vision and her eyes widened as she abruptly inched back. Her face looked comical with a double chin as she gaped at a broad sturdy chest dusted with trimmed manly hair.

Her eyes shot up and she stiffened. Axel was sleeping peacefully. Her eyes snapped around and she realized she was in his room.

How did she get here? And just like that she recalled the pool, Rory, and the slap followed by Axel beating him, and then she stole his drink and got drunk in her room. She vaguely recalled Axel coming into her room and treating her wounds but after that everything was a blur.
