The hold on her nape was gone as she sat upright rather abruptly. Her vision was blurred and her head was dizzy as the girl painted heavily. Her chest heaving up and down erratically and her heart was thumping in her mouth. She fell back on her butt and her body weight rested on her palm as she faced the sky blinking rapidly to get her senses back.

Evelyn barely heard the cries of pain behind her. Her whole body was in the icy cold water of the stream as it washed past her. Her vision cleared a little and she groggily got to her feet in an attempt to run but an ominous snarl that ripped through the air laced her skin with goosebumps.

The voice inside her head screamed at her not to turn around but the voice of flesh being torn apart had her stomach churning up as she turned around only to stiffen at her spot.

The creature in front of her had her blood freeze faster than frostbite.

A huge black wolf stood at some distance tearing the flesh of three dead vampires.

Kathleen 's story quality is getting decreased. she is barely explaining the scene but not the inner turmoil and emotions. though she explains she is finishing it in two sentences. I'm unable to find that Kathleen author. and the story is being too cliche than reality. ofcourse it is a fantasy.
