Chapter Sixteen: Rogue Wolves

Ava’s POV

When I looked out the front window of my car, I felt scared because they were there.

A dangerous pack of wolves turned their attention to the car I was driving, making it look like nature had created a being of evil. The dogs' eyes were a disturbing shade of emerald green and were glowing with an eerie brightness.

Their hair, which was a play of shadows and shiny silver, showed that they were strong, even though they were skinny. Each member of this pack had claws that looked like they were made in the furnace of nature's creation. Their hunger made them ready to destroy anything in their way.

Fear held me in my seat and wouldn't let me move as I watched the terrifying scene outside my car. The wolf pack kept attacking my car widows.

Their nails, which were naturally sharpened to catch food, scraped against the glass with a deep, guttural sound that echoed through the metal frame and made a disturbing chorus of scratching and gnashing.

With the windows down in the car,
