Logan's POVI looked back at my little family from the rearview mirror and my heart filled with gratitude. There was one thing Ava didn't add though and that was– she slept right along with them. Aiden's POVThe journey to the other pack was longer than I had envisioned and that was largely because we had kids on board with us. And with them, it became more of a road trip than an actual journey because we had to make occasional stops other than the ones we made so we could sleep at the motel. One thing that surprised both Ava and I was how good and well behaved the children were. They didn't throw unnecessary tantrums and their arguments didn't last long either– though I'll attribute that to their mum as well. Ava's POVAs soon as we stepped into the house, a man whom I guessed was the butler walked over to where we stood and greeted us as he gestured to some staff to go and get our smaller bags from the car. "Alpha Logan, it's such a pleasure to see you again after such a long time." "I know right? It's been a while." Turning to me, he continued "Good evening my lady, it's a pleasure to have you. I'm Kendrick the butler." He was visibly older than Logan and I put together but he was still as agile as ever. I took his extended arm and proceeded to introduce myself. "Well, there's not much introduction to do. I'm Ava Silverpelt but you can call me Ava." Smiling, he turned to Logan who smiled back and then he turned back to address me. "As you can visibly see, I'm a man of age," he chuckled, using one hand to cover his mouth as if he didn't want Logan to hear what he was going to say next he continued, "But I'm young at heart."
