No intention to kill Winter

"Your cheeks flushing red," Raphael said and he smirked. He asked her to turn to the other side since the medicine needed to be applied to the other arm too.

Winter complied with him and turned her back to him. "You got kind of a unique surprise on your 18th birthday," Raphael proclaimed. His fingers gently rubbed over her bruise.

"Are you mocking me?" Winter inquired him. "Do you also think I'm a jinx?" Her tone was laced with fury and frustration.

"You got a present on your birthday," Raphael ignored her questions and shifted his fingers to the third bruise on her forearm.

Winter quickly moved away and stood up on her feet. "Nathan said you kept me alive because, in your eyes, I was innocent. Is that true? Why do you treat me in a way that gives me more pain?" she asked him.

"I was being gentle to you," Raphael proclaimed.

"No. Your words make me hurt," Winter asserted. "I don't want to be near you. Don't call me when you have no work for me," she opined.
