The Alpha's Worries

William… was tired. He was exhausted, he was pooped, he was… just tired.

‘How many incidents does this make…?’ he wondered, for he had to make amends to another werewolf accused of being a traitor.

He lost count of the number of times he had done this, just as much as he lost count of the number of times he told the werewolves aware of the pack’s hidden situation to be ‘delicate’ about the matter. And he was sure he had repeated himself to several of those wolves a good amount of times now. Yet… instead of having an easier time with his job, it’s only been getting more and more troublesome.

“Sometimes, I have to wonder if those werewolves I kept warning are those spies…” he muttered to himself.

He wanted to take that as a possibility, but those very wolves he spoke of? Some of those were elders who had been loyal to the Devorare Pack long before he was born, when his father ruled. Such old geezers like them would obviously be extremely overprotective of their home. As for the rest?
