CHAPTER 18

ARTHUR

It seemed to Arthur that Mila had slapped him. He never had met a girl who didn't desire him! He was the alpha - well, to be alpha, and he was the next in line for the throne.

"But she does desire you," Sebastian spoke in Arthur's head simply. "Maybe a little too much," Sebastian added.

"But then why is she walking away," Arthur moaned as he saw Mila walk towards Tony.

"I think she wants you to choose," Sebastian spoke reasonably.

"How can I choose her over Chloe?" Arthur grumbled. "I mean, yes, I like her, but I have already accepted Chloe as my mate. We are set to tie the knot in coming years."

"But Chloe is NOT your mate," Sebastian shouted in Arthur's head, making him wince.

Mila turned suddenly as if she knew about Arthur's dilemma and pain, but after giving an appraising look, she looked away.

"I want her," Sebastian moaned.

"Yeah?" Arthur gave a snort of a laugh, "Join the club!"

"Choose her," Sebastian beseeched.

"She is not even a wolf, what would you do? Fuck a hum
