AMALA

What choice do I have now that I’m at his mercy? Yet, I continue to struggle from his tight grasp and I ignore the stinging discomfort of the awkward position I’m in.

"This is against human rights!" I bellow, giving him a sideways glare. "If this was thirty years ago, I could have sued your sorry ass for assault!"

"Hah! You, humans, have lost every right after you lost the war, Amala Gaines. As I said, you have no choice but to come with me!" Seth glares as he threatens me.

Just then, a door slams open and a small white furry creature jumps out and its mouth latches through Seth’s arm.

Startled, the Alpha releases my arm as he steps backward, staring at the small puppy piercing its fangs to his flesh.

“ALPHA!” His lackey tries to grab the white pup but it drops itself before his fingers reach it.

Now, on the ground, I can see it clearly.

Fur the same color of pure white snow, its wet snout is light brown and the eyes—gray with hues of gold color on those eyes.
