Chapter 1

“Claudia!” I hear my sweet Evan call my name and I can hear his hurried footsteps as he rushes towards our room.

I look at the suitcase in front of me, as I still have an unsettled feeling in my gut. Evan walked towards me and wrapped his arms around me from behind as he rubbed his hand over my stomach. He teases me, “You know, we could be putting another little one in you on this trip.”

I roll my eyes from his antics. He’s right though, Peele and Osborn are 4 years old now and if I did get pregnant on this trip that would put the next baby at being almost five years apart from the boys.

It's the exact time frame that I have wanted. From all of the parentings and pregnancy books I’ve read it shows that a 4-5 year age difference helps the older kids process the change better and helps me out because they will be able to understand and help out a little more.
