She was there. Looking at me, tears in her eyes, concern filled in her head and guilt in her mind. I saw her and it wasn't a dream. She was really there.

I slowly got up as I had lost a major chunk of my strength, she was looking at me and probably cursing herself for my situation.

"Maya," I called her name once again.

And then, I felt her hard against my chest. She hugged me tightly and started crying.

"Thank God, nothing happened to you," she cried out as she didn't even break the hug.

I slowly rubbed her back and let her cry.

I looked around, I was in my home and there were a few witches around me. How did I get here? How long I have been passed out? What happened when I was unconscious?

Maya broke the hug and cupped my face. She was crying inconsolably while I wondered what was happening.

"I thought... I thought I would lose you," she sobbed as she hugged me again.

"Till the time you're here, nothing... Nothing can happen to me," I weakly mumbled.
