Salara’s POVThe ethereal being dressed in a long flowing gown of white walks over to where I stand dumbstruck by the news that I am dying. Once she reaches my side, she places a gentle hand on my arm before gently guiding me over to a bench situated near a beautiful pond littered with creatures that I have never seen before. A bird the color of deep purple that reminds me of the cranes I used to watch as a small child on my grandparents farm hustles over to us quickly once we have settled on the bench. Salara’s POV My brows crinkle in confusion when I open my eyes and find myself curled up with Derrick on what looks to be my old hospital bed.
