Bailey's POV.

The first bell had rung for classes to begin and as much as I wanted to avoid Miguel, I wasn't so fortunate because we had the same class and he showed up in school.

I wanted to pretend like he didn't exist, I wanted to continue with the way it's been since the last time we had lunch but he was persistent.

Miguel passed a tiny piece of paper on my desk, I had this urge to brush to paper off my desk but then I found myself taking it into my hands and holding it. I opened it slightly to read what he had neatly handwritten.

I felt a little smile forming at the corner of my lips, clasping my hand against my lips. I smiled.

I turned slowly to see him fully focused on me.

What a way to flatter someone. Why was he doing this?

I looked at the paper to see if I had read it properly. It read

~Good morning Bailey, you look so good today. You should smile a bit, little sunshine~

My feet twinkled and he looked at him, he had the biggest smile I had seen and I didn't know why he had
