“Madame Anna, the Alpha King has requested to see you.” A maid informed me.

I rolled my eyes. “I wouldn't die either if I don't. By the way, why did you call me?”

“I'm pretty sure you already know why. And I'm going to ask you, why did you disobey me?” His eyes turned dark as he gazed down at me. “I already warned you not to lay a finger on her, didn't I? And you, Anna, you dared to disobey me?”

I sighed, crossing my arms around my chest. “You don't expect me to keep shut when she misbehaves. At least, you didn't warn me not to touch her whenever she misbehaves. I was only trying to teach her what was wrong.”
