Alpha Baron's POV

Despite all the efforts I had put in so that Naomi would spend even if it was just an extra day more in Raven Claw Pack, it came to nothing. Her mind was already made up, leaving me frustrated.

With Wren gone now, I had only Richard left in helping to run the pack and during those few days in which I was trying to sort myself out, he had filled in for me.

Getting Naomi to myself was my priority and I was ready to do whatever it took to make it a reality but it seemed that wasn't going to happen.

She keeps pushing all my efforts back to my face like they're worth nothing.
