Alpha Baron's POV

For the next few minutes that followed, I didn't take my eyes off her even when she already did. She Ignored me like I was non-existent and then took her father's hand, placing a little box on it.

“I found it in the car gloves.” She said, her voice which I haven't heard in a while sounded like the rattling of beads in my ear.

“Thank you.” Her father said to her and she nodded only to turn around to leave the next minute but her father pulled her back.

“Have you spoken with Alpha Baron?” Alpha Jethro asked.

Chuckling, she turned in my direction and then did a curt bow, “I have no idea he was the one over there. I thought it was someone else.” She gave her father an apologetic look before returning her attention to me.

“You're welcome, I hope you have a swell time here.” Shs said with a bright smile.

Turning to Isabelle, she waved, “Hi.”

“Hi.” Isabelle responded. I was thinking they were going to engage in some form of conversation when Isabelle decided to exchange ple
