Smith’s P.O.V.

The compulsion from the entire pack was just over, and Alex left me to guard Madam Helena, in case she needed anything.

I could feel that she was in trouble, scared would be a better word used for her current condition. She was dialing someone’s number repeatedly, but that person wasn’t receiving her calls.

Soon, she gave up and started crying, leaving me aghast about whether I should ask her or not.

“You should serve Helena well.”

That was Alex’s serious demand from me, and as I couldn’t say no to him, I stepped forward to inquire about the situation.

“What’s going on, Madam?

May I help you?”

Waiting for her reply, I remained silent, but she stood there frozen, not even nodding to acknowledge my question.

Perhaps, I wasn’t loud enough at first, so I raised my voice,

“Are you alright, Madam?”

Just at that very moment, my eyes beheld a strange sight, wrecking my brain in a heartbeat.
