Sharmaine's POV

When I woke up, my head was hefty. It felt like a heavy rock was on my head. I didn't expect that sweet fruit wine could also make me so drunk that I lost consciousness. I went to the bathroom to wash my face to wake up.

A few fragments of memories from last night flashed through my head. I was in shock, but then I quickly denied it was true. I'm sure it was just a dream. A nightmare that made me highly embarrassed.

After washing up, I went to the kitchen to have breakfast. Maya happily greeted me. She finished preparing breakfast for me. Usually, I would wake up at five in the morning to go jogging, but I woke up late today due to being drunk yesterday.
