Maven spooned me the whole night and would rub his hand over my belly. It's adorable how excited he is about the baby.

I'm excited too, but the scene in the café replays in my head over and over again and makes me wonder who is watching. I can't risk my baby's life.

I place my hand over my stomach in a protective manner and take a deep breath. Maybe we should talk to Cora and see if there's anything we can do to help keep the baby safe.

When we get up, Maven goes off to do his normal duties and I walk downstairs so that I can sit with Maggie. As soon as I get down there, she sets a smoothie in front of me and says, "I made it special for you. It has extra nutrients that will help you and the baby to grow strong."

I smile at her, "You're the best, Maggie, thank you."

We make small talk as I finish my smoothie and then I get up and grab a bottle of water and tell her, “I’m going for a walk.”

Maggie looks at me skeptically and asks, “Is that the best idea, dear? You haven’t bee
