Once Penny was gone, Ludwig refilled the tub with fresh water and then stepped in it splashing a large amount of water around. His beast, which was calm, had resurfaced. “It should have been Zoe, and not her!” he muttered. “She deserves to be my queen and not her! I want Zoe and not her!” Finally he came to the conclusion that all this happened because he missed Zoe. He had to send her a message to come back to him as soon as possible. But when she would come back, what would he say about the necklace? He closed his eyes. He had to formulate a strategy.

After waiting for half an hour for her to join him for lunch, he sent a servant to call her. She came down looking anxious. He knew how awkward it must be for her. He wanted to make her feel comfortable.

Two arrow heads were protruding out of his back. In the front there were some arrows that he had broken the shaft of. He was wearing an iron armor tunic and black breeches. His long shoulder length hair was soaked with sweat and blood. A scar on his right eyebrow added to his overall lethal look.
