Chapter Forty-Eight- Amethyst

It took a week, but we finally found a nanny that fit the bill. Yes, she is an older grandmotherly type who dotes on the twins. She is a widow and has a grown son and daughter and they have pups. It was her kids that suggested she should apply as she is all alone in her little house with nothing to do. I am glad to have found her. She seems to be taken with me as well.

I have been wondering what punishment Chase had set for Christine as I have not seen her in the cells that day of Lisa’s punishment. He informed me she too had lashings and was banished from the pack. With that done I took to going back for training and feeling stronger. It has been a month since the incident with Lisa and so far, she has left us alone and is finishing her schooling. I also heard she turns eighteen in a few days, and I hope she does find her mate, then she will understand a mate bond. Well, one can only hope.
