EPISODE NINETY-TWO- RAGE

Julian’s POV

I got a call from Karyna’s friend, and I was able to learn that she was conscious now. Despite how I felt on the inside, after knowing that she was engaged to another man, I was glad that she was alive and safe.

I wanted to go to her immediately, but Sophia refused, saying that the situation was not nice to show up. My mind flashed back to her parents, and how cold and hostile they were. But I didn't care about all that.

I didn't later leave for her father’s house to confront her because I was in bad shape myself. Drunk, angry, and heartbroken. No matter how desperate I was, I couldn't go see her like this. I didn't want her to see me in this state. To know that she was the cause.

That she has held me so tight on the heartstrings, tugging and pulling through like a loyal puppy.

So I stayed in the club where we first met, nursing my…seventh…tenth glass? I wasn’t sure. I had lost count already. Even the bartender was looking at me funny, but I ignored him.
