Karyna’s POVI woke up and pushed my limbs out on the bed, wincing at how stretched my body was. They really wrecked me last night, it wasn’t funny. Henri’s POV***Flashback***A young woman knelt at the front of the procession, crying and wailing. Her screams touched the hearts of many, tugging at the heartstrings.Onlookers shook their heads in sorrow. Some cried along with her, while some were just numb from the shock.I was amongst the latter. I wasn’t able to move. I couldn’t cry, I couldn’t speak. I couldn’t bring myself to conjure those painful emotions. All I felt was emptiness. There was nothing left in my chest. Only a painful, hollow cavity. I slowly turned to look at Julian who stood beside me. His expression was stoic, but I could see the tear streaks that ran down his face. I could see the anger and hurt in his eyes. His whole body was vibrating with raw emotion.Something I was unable to conjure, no matter how hard it tore me on the inside. I felt like I was drowning underwater, or like someone was tearing my insides open, but I was paralyzed. I could feel all the emotions so vividly, yet it was like I was having

Karyna’s POVI sat cross legged on the bed, my laptop sitting perfectly on my lap as I did. My fingers tapped on the keyboard rhythmically, the sound filling the air.“No, no…” I murmured to myself, biting the tip of my fingernail. “This isn’t it, it’s horrible,” I said, clearing the whole paragraph I had written. I’ve been working on a script for my solo project ever since Henri dropped the deadline, and it has been a pain in my ass. Nothing I wrote was ever good enough for me and I knew it wouldn’t be good enough for him as well.I groaned, slapping my forehead. If I didn't write a good script, Henri would think I was a brainless girl, and he wouldn't help me with my project. “Fuck!” I exclaimed once more, typing another line again.I still didn’t understand the motivation behind his inspiration of the script, but it was fairly a captivating story that would do well for my grades, so I didn’t really question it.I cleared my head and sighed, starting afresh for the umpteenth time

Henri’s POVI was jolted awake by the sudden slam of my door swinging open. Blinking away sleep, I sat up to find Karyna standing there, her chest heaving, face flushed, and clutching a laptop tightly in her hands.I stared at her confusedly for a while, before checking my phone to know the time. It was 6:30 in the morning, and she was this hyper. It was strange.“Karyna?” I drawled, raising a lazy brow. “What’s going on?”“Good morning, the script you told me to write, I’m done with it,” she let out, walking over to my bed to plop herself right beside me.I breathed out a sigh of realization as my body relaxed. Karyna’s POVI sighed contently, taking in the fresh air and the sunshine on my skin. Today was a very beautiful day. Not too sunny either, which was perfect.My eyes transferred from the sky, over to Henri who was slightly bent over, adjusting the tripod and the camera set on it.Currently, we were outside, a bit away from the vacation home, and out on a small field. Dandelions and wild flowers grew around it, giving it a mythical glow. I was quite surprised to discover such a scenery like this exists, but it was a pleasant shock.We came out here to film a scene for my film project.
