Chapter 17.

LOGAN’S POV

“Darn! Why does my head hurt this bad?” I quizzed while trying to sit up. I slammed my back on the bedrest of the bed and wrapped my left hand on the back of my head, gently massaging it to calm the severe headache.

I made use of my right hand by pushing the hair covering my face backwards in order to receive fresh air on my face.

The rays of sun pierced through the window of Amber’s room and poured itself on the part of the bed where I lay.

“Damn this sun! It’s causing this headache!” I cried as I unsteadily stood up from the bed. I felt a sharp pain in my head.

“Argh,” I placed my hand on my head as I screamed. I retreated to the bed while grunting aggressively. I turned to Amber and growled. “Didn’t she hear my cry? How could my child’s mother sleep so much? I just hope that my child doesn’t adopt such habits from her. I just wish I could…”

I stretched my hand to strike at her but I stopped myself and growled.
