Ellie followed her father and they walked out of the building to the garden, the silence was peaceful and Ellie found comfort in her father's presence. They got to the place where there was chairs and tables under the shed, they both stood behind a chair.

“Have your seat child” Mr Black said pointing to her seat

“Aren’t you sleepy dad?” Ellie asked feeling wide awake herself

Her father said nothing just studied her for some times, he had his seat knowing she would do the same, Ellie had no choice but to have her seat, she picked at her nails, under the bright light. It looked as if it was still day time. No one said a word for some time, they both sat down.

Ellie looked up at her father who was already looking at her, she smiled at him and he didn’t smile back nor frown, his face was neutral and set in his permanent expression.
