#Chapter55Althea Garcia Hela SilvermoonI did not want to leave this room today. But I wanted to see his face again. I debated with my heart until it made me give up and I got ready for the day. My appetite seems to have cease to exist as I didn’t feel hunger or the need to eat. My eyes searched for that tall muscular figure with the piercing blue eyes. Every time I saw a blond hair, I would crane my neck to see their face. None of them was him though. He had this softest looking sandy blond hair. I wanted to feel it against my hands. I wanted to touch his smooth yet slightly chiselled face. I want to know what it feels like. Although I feel like I know it. I want to remind myself of those feelings. Just once. Let me find you. Let me feel you.Oh dear goddess, if you are up there, please hear my plea, let me see him once again. I close my eyes and clasped my hands together in front of my chest. Please.I slowly opened my eyes as the door on my left creaks open. Then there he s
#Chapter56Althea Garcia Hela SilvermoonJust then, he walks in his glory, void of any emotions on his beautiful face. Even in plain black jeans and a t-shirt, he looked out of this world. Tall. Mysterious. Handsome. He was perfect, whichever way I looked at him.Even though I hated attention, I craved his. I wanted his blue eyes to look at me for once. To notice the little, me. The insignificant me. In this crowd of werewolves, I wanted him to notice the human, me.He walks to the middle of all the people with such power as the crowds goes quiet. Then he starts to speak, his voice loud and clear. “This celebration is for your Gamma Tray’s and his mate Natalie.” He goes over to the table and picks up a cup and raises it in the air.“Congratulations.” The crowd follows his movement and echoes of ‘congratulation’ fills the land. They once again continue to talk and laugh. Even if it was just a glimpse, I think he smiled. It made a smile of my own appear on my face as I shamelessly
#Chapter57Aries BlackwoodI gripped my hair tighter. What had I done? I had said the cruellest words to her. I didn’t mean it. I don’t hate you.“I hate the fact that you exist.” No, I don’t. “I hate the fact that you were made for me. I don’t want you.” I want you even if it’s a sin. “I never will. Till my dying breath.” Lies. All the words that I spoke were lies. I was afraid that I was starting to fall for this human. This weak little human had somehow managed to take a place in my heart over the week that I had watched her.The more I watched her, the more she reminded me of Althea. But her looks broke me out of her lies. I guess not my heart. My heart had started to betray me. It had given a space to someone else that was not Althea. But I cannot let this frail human be heartbroken just as I was.I could never accept her even though every part of my soul screamed at me to just take her. But I already belonged to another and there was no room for anyone else.I’ll rathe
#Chapter58Althea Garcia Hela SilvermoonPain. Immense pain. That’s what I woke up to. My whole body screamed in pain. With great difficulty, I opened my eyes to look at the wooden roof.I blinked my eyes several times to remember what had happened. How I ended up here. I leaned on my elbow and slowly raised myself up. I looked around me. I was lying on a thin bedding on the floor, in the far corner of this tiny, almost empty room. The room only had a few books lying on the other corner and a bag next to it. I notice the old looking logs that was built like a wall around, leaving a small gap in the middle of one wall, forming a window. Where was I? Where was this?“So, you’re finally up huh?” The voice makes me jump back away, and I ended up slamming my head on the wooden wall. Everything went black for a second and my head started to spin until finally I felt the pain. “Oww.”“You shouldn’t hurt your body anymore.” She walks towards me. Since I have no more place to run, I just
#Chapter59Althea Garcia Hela SilvermoonHer eyes flicker between mine as she says. “Because I’m a witch.”A witch? But she looks so normal. So, like me. And she seems so nice. Why would anyone want to harm her?She turns to leave but I hold on to her hands. “But- but why would anyone harm you?”She sighs and shakes her head. “Because they are a cruel being. They only think about their own.” She almost growls it out. “I don’t need to do anything, me being a witch is enough for them to want to capture me.”“Althea, they will force me into doing things for them. And nothing good will ever come out of it. I have managed to escape him once and I don’t intend to be his prisoner, a second time.” She tugs her hand free.“But they are not like whoever you think they might be. They are goo-”“Stop it, Althea. Don’t say that. You are a human, so you won’t understand but I have been there myself. I know how dark he is. How evil he is. They are all the same Althea.” She shakes her head
#Chapter60Third PersonWhen Evelyn was only a distance away, she looked back. The wooden cottage where she had left her. All alone. With no one to defend her if something or someone else comes over. She sighed as she started to turn back, but her steps stooped as soon as she felt his disgusting presence. She quickly put a shield around her so, she was safe from him. At least for now. She saw his dark figure come through the trees and head toward the cottage. No. No. No. Her mind kept repeating itself. But she couldn’t make her feet to move as she watched him slam the door down. She waited and waited as she prayed the goddess to keep her safe. Minutes passed since. Unable to bear it anymore, Evelyn decided against her fears and entered the small cottage that she had been watching over. The closer she reached to the room that she left Althea in, the more of his dark powers she could feel. This monster. The monster that she escaped from, was here. She knew that he wanted her. Her
#Chapter61Third PersonAlex and Matt stood on the doorway as they looked at the scene in front of them. Alex slowly moved towards them as Matt stood frozen on his place unable to tear his eyes off them. Alex stopped at the foot of Althea’s body as she laid there almost lifeless, her body wrapped in bandages, her dress covered with red patches of wet and dry blood. It hurt his heart to see her like that. Even though he had promised himself that he would do anything in his power to protect this tiny human, he had failed to do so.He finally teared his eyes from her body and looked at the Alpha, disregarding the little witch who sat beside him. The Alpha sat on his knees as he looked at Althea’s face with so much pain. His hands clenched into tight fist, sat on his lap as if he was holding back from touching the human, stopping himself from doing what his heart desired.Alex squinted his eyes as he observed the Alpha. His jaws were clenched, veins in his arms were popping out and h
#Chapter62Althea Garcia Hela SilvermoonWhere was I?This darkness that surrounds me, hides me from whatever that I fear. Here, I don’t feel a thing. I was safe. I was alone. Nobody. No one will ever reach me here. So, I sit on the darkness with my knees tucked and my arms around my chest. I don’t know if I opened my eyes or if they were already open, but a bright light hits my face, lifting off this darkness that was comforting me.And in the middle of the light, there she stands wearing a long black dress. Her midnight black hair flows free on her back and her coal black eyes shows the sadness in her heart. Then on the other side, there appears another light but this time the light itself was of a figure. Another woman wearing a long white flowy dress. She was like a globe of light in the darkness that she stood. Her silver hair cascades down her back and silver eyes equally filled with the same sadness. They looked the same but completely different. One contrast of another.
