In the Shadowland
"Damn, you are romancing in the middle of the ocean" Lucian teased Lucifer.
Lucifer simply rolled his eyes. Amber's face became beet red.
"As if you are the one to speak," Lucifer commented drily.
Ophelia and Thea snickered behind them.
"Here" Baraka brought towels for everyone to dry themselves.
"Thank you," Thea said with a smile.
"My king, Odhan is here" a Sentinel bowed respectfully.
"Okay, you can go" Darius sent the sentinel away.
Baraka's heart skipped a beat. She wants to go see him badly but is scared to ask them so.
Darius observed the sad look on Baraka's face and smiled with understanding.
"You can go and look after him if you want" Darius offered to Baraka.
Baraka's face instantly lit up with happiness.
"Thank u, thank u king Darius" she said and rushed towards the palace.
Everyone looked at her retreating figure.
"Where is Assorthan" Lucifer asked.

"Come with me mother. You don't have to stay here anymore" Lucian begged mother Destiny.She looked at him with resignation, as if whatever she was about to tell him will hurt him."I cannot son. As soon as I keep my foot in that tunnel, the water will drown us faster than we can cross it. It will kill not only me but also all of you. I finally came to know my sons and daughter are living a happy life. After their encounter with mother destiny, all four of them walked back towards the exit of the palace."You can go Eugene" Lucifer sent away Eugene.Eugene bowed to them and left in another direction."What do we do now?" Lucian asked.Even Darius and Lucifer feel like, they are at a dead end. They cannot leave without finding Assorthan. But he is nowhere to be found."We don't know. We are not even sure if that arrows worked on him or not. He became lethargic after a few minutes of being hit. We don't know if it's because of the arrows or his poison" Darius murmured.A maid rushed towards them hurriedly."King Darius, Lord Lucifer, Master Lucien" she addressed them bowed deeply."Yes?" They asked in unison."Your breakfast is ready. Lucifer entered his room and noticed Amber sitting on the Window sill under the sun. She is so lost in, she didn't noticed him.Lucifer looked at her for a moment before interrupting her."Hey," Amber is startled by the sudden voice and jumped a little.Lucifer is Amused by her jumpy behavior.Amber looked at Lucifer with confusion. "Ouch" Ophelia stumbled back with the impact of colliding into someone.Lucian caught her on instinct. But now his eyes adjusted to the steamy surroundings and he could clearly see Ophelia wrapped up in just a towel. Her body slippery with water and her hair too is wet.Ophelia is shocked to see Lucian standing there."What are you doing in my room?" She glared at him after she recovered from her initial shock."I should be the one who should be asking you the same question," he said amused.He is not at all disappointed by her presence in his room. Moreover, he is excited. She started to squirm in his hold."Let me go" she snapped at him."This is ridiculous, don't you think? You are the one who collided with me, standing in my bathroom with just a towel wrapped around you. Now you are also the one who is angry that I am enjoying you in my arms" he teased her, but did not let her go.Ophelia is growing impatient and embarrassed.
Althea Plan for a journey
Darius, Lucian, and Lucifer met outside their rooms exactly after one hour freshly showered and changed."You guys heard too?" Darius knows they must have heard about Assorthan too. He just want to confirm before continuing."We did" Lucian and Lucifer answered in union."So what do you guys think?" Darius asked the other two."We should go and talk with Odhan before deciding anything" Lucifer suggested.Odhan is the prince and most will be the next Lord of the Shadowland. He would know about that place as well. He might help them if they decided to go in search of his father."Good idea" Darius and Lucian agreed. Three of them made their way towards the room where Odhan is resting.A dark guard who was guarding Odhan's door immediately opened the door for them.Odhan who was resting on the bed, tried to get up into a sitting position."No, don't get up. You can lay down" Lucian said when he saw Odhan fighting against his pain.
Althea What Is Baraka doing?
Melanie floated around the palace of Assorthan checking if there are still anyone loyal to Assorthan.Maids are going about their works, guards are doing their duties, everything seems to be normal. Nothing suspicious.Melanie was about to report this to Darius when she saw Baraka going hurriedly somewhere.Baraka is far away from where Melanie is, so even though Melanie tried to call her, she didn't respond. People nearby were startled and were looking here and there, trying to deduce where the voice came from.Melanie paid them no mind and started to float towards where she saw Baraka. She followed Baraka from a distance.Baraka hurried past the palace and into the colony, where all the houses of the citizens were located.Baraka walked for a few minutes before reaching an old house. She knocked once and went inside, promptly closing the door behind her.Melanie reached the house and walked through the wall without any effort.
