Chapter 113

Amara's POV

My laptop sat open in front of me but I couldn't concentrate on the reason for opening it. I had a project to take care of but that wasn't important to me as I stood up with my phone in my hands.

I paced to and fro in Luciano's room still contemplating on going on with my plans. That was it! I locked the door and went into the bathroom. I checked for cameras knowing that Luciano could be funny sometimes but I couldn't find any then dialed the number.

'Please pick up'

Dee's responded immediately and I heaved a sigh happy that I didn't have to wait too long for him to respond.

"Amara, how are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm fine, I finally decided to call," I chuckled nervously but I still wanted to confirm if he was truly the one.

"I guess," He replied and stayed silent while I thought of what to ask him.

"When was the last time we talked and what did we talk about?" I asked and he told me everything making me feel relaxed.
