Luciano's POV

Raul drove into the premise of the school and then floored the engine. Gabriel was the first to leave the car, then I followed suit and scrutinized the building quietly.

I had to make sure that we weren't going to be ambushed thereby causing a scene during the event.

Massimo was still lurking around so I had to be careful or I wouldn't be able to protect my loved ones.

I took a glance at Gio who looked charming and handsome in his three piece beige suit that fit like a second skin. His hair had been styled in a comb-over which gave him a matured look.

"Are you ready, son?" I asked and he nodded, squaring his shoulders confidently.

He looked happier than I had seen him in days. After our conversation that night, he became more jovial and became a constant presence in my life.
