Caleb‘s POV

I kept tossing and turning in the bed. Don’t laugh – but I was too damned hot. I wasn’t used to sleeping in silk fucking sheets, either. Everything about this place was making me itch.

I’d thought I’d be able to relax once we’d retired to the guest room – once we were finally away from the Alpha and Luna’s prying eyes – but I couldn’t settle. My need for Rhiannon was ever-present, and stronger now than it had been in the day. With nothing to distract myself from it, I was stuck missing someone I at once both craved intimately and barely knew.
