I Am Sorry

Regor’s POV

“How do you say sorry to someone?” I asked Gino, who sat on my executive chair.

As usual, he did not leave right away after I adjourned the meeting with the Department Secretaries that morning. He followed me to my office for chitchat.

"Did pigs fly?” He said flippantly.

“Idiot!” I brushed his joke aside and worriedly cupped my chin.

These days, I have been restless.

I could not sleep.

I could not concentrate on my work.

Thoughts of Katarina would often distract me. I can not seem to shake out the pained expression on her face when she hurriedly left my suite after our confrontation about Eliana.

It bothered me that we were not on good terms.

“You are serious?” Gino frowned. He could not hide his surprise.

If someone knew me for as long as Gino knew me, he could say this is very uncharacteristic of me.

I have always been proud, stubborn, and unrelenting.
