In the familiar garden of colorful flowers the sun was shining high in the blue cloudless sky, stroking the glistening petals in its gentle ray of golden sunlight.
Blown by the cool wind of summer, the fragrance spread to the air and gave the scent of peaceful harmony.
And in the middle of this beautiful sanctuary of blooming flowers is a shady tree, big and green. Its banquet of verdant leaves welcomely face the horizon as the sun showered the plant with rich elegant daylight.
While beneath the shade is a mother and her child, the mother is singing a beautiful lullaby to her little flower as she slowly doze off to sleep, feeling the warmth of her mother beside her.
Colorful petals are gliding and dandelion seeds are dancing with the wind. Everything was quiet and peaceful, only the sweet melody of the loving mother's voice is present, along the hushing of the leaves as the warm wind blew like a special kiss in this cherished dreamland.

"Is anyone there?" Mayari asked. But no one replied. She turned her body forward, now she is fully facing the other side of the river. A big gap of rushing water separated her from the opposite snow-covered land. But the strange feeling of being watched by the unknown suddenly rattled in her spine. She watched intently deep into the woods, only the loud streams of rushing water from the vivid river filled the silent void that lingered in the quiet surrounding but it was immediately shattered when a sweet giggle escape from a stranger's lips. Mayari heard that for sure, then slowly fading in view from the other side is a beautiful young lady, smiling towards Mayari with her soft pinkish lips. The strange girl have the characteristics of an elf because of her pair of pointy ears that she decorated with golden rings. But due to her bizarre fading blue skin and a pair of black sclera accompanied with her hypnotic azure irises, Mayari's thought of
Long time ago the Local Forest Goddess, Yuvera ruled the Yuver Forest with kindness and prosperity. She's a Goddess of both beauty and heart. She have a pearl-white soft skin, her ears are a combination of pointedness and fin, her hair have the wave of the sea and the shade of the dark night sky, and her eyes are the green view of nature with a mixed of moonlight. Travelers would come to the forest and worship her. In return Yuvera would blessed them with herbal plants for medicine and delicious fruits to harvest. The people would bow to her and show their gratitude by performing and giving offerings. And she would gleefully smile at them with adoration. But their is something that Yuvera want the most, that no mortal could offer, and only the Heavenly Gods can bestow. She wants a child. Every night she would pray to the moon to give her a child. She would bend her knees to the cold snowy ground, unite her hand and plead to the Gods above. After nights and nights of endless pray
"You're lying." Even stated sternly.Mayari stayed silent and continue to walk, ignoring him as she played deaf. Then she suddenly stopped when Evan tugged her wrist and faced her towards him."Tell me, Mayari, what did you saw?" Evan asked calmly."I saw nothing, your highness." Mayari replied. She may look like she is telling the truth but Evan knew better. The way she looked at the river like she was looking for someone or something prove his point."I know you saw something.""I don't know what you are talking about." Mayari coldly commented."Mayari... don't you trust me?" Evan's voice was laced with disappointment.Mayari once again didn't reply and pulled her wrist away from Evan's grip, then she continued to walk away."I'll take that as a no." Evan mumbled but it was loud enough for Mayar
It was a bright morning as the sun continued to shine above the snowy forest of Yuver. It's golden ray brought illuminating light to the vast woodland of snow-coated trees where winter never leaves. The trees' upper frosty leaves glowed so ever white as the sunlight brush at their exposed surface like brilliant gems, sparkling before your eyes. But even though the sun god have emerged from his slumber, dark shadows are still found beneath the trees, rocks, and caverns where his warm and emitting luminosity never have the chance to shone upon those looming void of dusk. The day was fair with a strange comfortable silence lingering around the light atmosphere upon the terrain of the snowy forest. This was the day where Evan and Mayari decided to explore the other area of the mysterious yet beautiful woodland and try to find any clue or hint that will show them the way toward the exit so they could finally escape.
Mayari watch as the sky slowly shift to a dark shade of blue, the stars slowly peep out one by one in the darkness and the faint crescent moon slowly appeared in the sky. It was quiet and relaxing as the night came again in the forest but Mayari can't let her guard down yet. Then suddenly, Evan came out of the trees and frantically run towards her, every step he took are heavy and loud against the snow, that caught Mayari's attention making her avert her gaze towards him. He is holding his stomach in pain and that didn't tooked Mayari seconds to know that he's injured. Mayari run towards him, halfway they meet, and Evan's knees fell down to the snow as Mayari reach him. "What happened?" Mayari calm tone asked as she bend down to him. "The spirits attack once again, they are very powerful and dangerous." Evan replied. Noticing Mayari has no respond, he quickly grabbed her left arm and pull her up to a stand. "We don'
From a window, a light suddenly flash through in the middle of the night as a luminescent beam pass by the curtains dimly but enough to be notice by a certain little girl. The light came from outside, followed with a loud sound of a familiar vehicle that stirred the girl from her sleep. The engine noise lingered for a couple of seconds before finally dying out. But by then little Mayari had already woke up."That must be mommy..." She lazily mumbled, rubbing her eyes from sleepiness and yawning after. Her father was away in that time for a business trip, he won't be back until next week so that left Mayari and her mother in the house. Her mother already mentioned that she will be home late and she doesn't need to wait for her but Mayari have a sweet habit to always greet her parents when they got home.So she rose out of bed, slip into her pink bunny slippers and walk towards her
"It's not the time to rest yet." A stern voice cut through the sullen silence like a sharp blade. Mayari opened her eyes upon hearing the cold stone remark, and immediately shifted her gaze from the leafless branch of the dead tree, that painted the gray sky, to the figure standing just a feet away. Her back is facing Mayari and her crimson dress softly waved to her side as the wind gently blew the red fabric. A few loose strands of her moonlit hair also swayed back and forth from the wind, while her deep ruby irises is glued to the lifeless lake ahead. "Go back." She bluntly said, "Who knows what will happen to you if it stayed in this vulnerable state for too long." By this time, Mayari's stood up and started approaching her subconscious self. Her subconscious heard her incoming footsteps, along with the crisp noises of dead grasses being step upon. Mayari stop just b
The two melody of different blades clashing together are ringing unendingly in the tense atmosphere of the night, in the cold forest of snow. Evan and the spirit boy fiercely weild their swords and magic, wanting to eliminate their enemy as quickly as possible, but it is easier said than done. Both foes continuously fought, and are aiming for victory. Burns, frostbites, scrapes, bruises, and bleeding wounds littered their skins but still they continue to battle as the adrenaline rushing through their veins fueled them the energy that is enough to keep them going. "Is that all you've got?" the boy provoked as he raise his scimitar and slash it at Evan. Evan quickly dodged and wave his hand to create a fierce swirling inferno that melted the snow above the ground, and set fire to the nearby trees. The boy jumped backward to keep a distance from the bursting flames, that's
