He had some doubts still lingering in his head, making him not easily believe her and apparently, they did not look so close rather than a couple. He dropped the glass of wine on the table, crossed his hands with a doubting look on his face and listened to the excuse he wanted to give.

“Errrm.......do we need to show you?” Valerie played with her fingers, raised her head at the man who just said it and then at Gabriel. What a sly fox! She repeatedly cursed in her heart and wished for the ground to swallow her.

Unknown to her, Gabriel pulled her into his embrace, leaned her hands on his chest, brought his head closer to her mouth and kissed her lips gently. Valerie stared at him with admiration and quickly snapped her head away from him.

Their kiss stunned the both of them but mostly Valerie who herself was still in her fantasy world. The man scoffingly bluffed at them and took his leave out of the cafeteria.
