Georgina quickly held her mother's mouth before her father would hear her voice.

“I will explain later .”

She whispered into her ears.

“Honey, who is that at the door?” Her father stood up from the sitting room, folded the newspaper and went to the door.

He looked outside the door waiting to see a big white car parked outside the house only to find a cab reversing and drive out of the compound.

“Why did you take a cab home?” Michael, her father, questioned her. Was she that stingy not to bring her car?

He frowned at her.

“Oh come on old man! I just came back and now you throw ridiculous questions at me? Now you can not even welcome your only child who has been gone for almost seven or more years ”

She rolled her traveling bag inside and sat on the couch.

She gaped at the living room which never changed a bit. Still the old and boring house wallpaper.
