She stared affectionately towards her child. This was all her fault for marrying such a money minded person. It was her fault also making Emily pass through this awful and terrible life.

After saying her mind out, she hung the box on the shelf, took a necklace out of the closet and handed it over to her.

“Emily, this is the necklace passed to me by my mother. Keep it real good, okay?”

She used her palm to ruffle Emily's hair, turned around and walked out of the room.

Emily silently murmured, making it no louder to anyone's hearing before laying on the bed.
