50. Their Own Heaven 18+

“Who is it, Manik?” Nandini asked when she saw him coming back.

“I don’t know. A lady has come and she is saying Mrs. Malhotra called her. Did you call anyone?” Manik asked.

Nandini frowned and kept the iron at one side. Suddenly she remembered something. “Oh, yes! I called for a househelp. We can’t manage everything alone after you join your office and I have to go to college as well. It slipped out of my mind.”

Saying so, she headed out of the room to talk to the woman. She came to the hall, opened the door and saw the lady who was waiting for her.

Seeing Nandini, the lady smiled and wished her. Nandini too wished her back.

“Are you here for househelp?” Nandini asked politely.

The lady nodded her head. “Yes. I was informed that you need a househelp but not regularly.”

“Yeah! Actually, we won’t live here permanently, that's why we can’t keep someone for all the time. I’ll let you know whenever we stay here, you need to come then.”

“No problem, Mrs. Malhotra. What’s my work?
