Chapter Twenty-Nine Keegan When I left Destiney at the hospital the other day, I couldn’t help but feel worried about the way she looked. She looked…hopeless, worried, and just down and upset. I need to make sure she knows that nothing is going to happen to her, and I am going to get to the bottom of what happen to her. Jasmine is not going to get away with this. Chapter Thirty Keegan When I get a better sense of what my mood is like I try to control my anger when I address Tanner, I plan to find out if she had anything to do with this, she is going wish she never met me or Jasmine for that matter. “Tanner, I think it’s time you leave. You have no reason to be here anyway, you are Jasmine’s friend not Destiney’s, and if I find out you had anything to do with what happen to her, you will go down just like Jasmine is. Chapter Thirty-One Destiney I can’t believe Keegan told me he loves me. I never thought I would hear that from anyone, let alone Keegan. I hope he means it; I can’t wait to get out of here and get back to normal life. Chapter Thirty-Two Four Days Later Destiney It’s been a few days and I have been home for two of those four days and I am so grateful to be home and I made sure to give the recording I made of Jasmine to my parents, and I am glad that I did because it really helped them to build evidence against her to make sure that she is held accountable for her actions. Keegan has been by to see me every day since and my parents even let him stay the night with me the first night so he could help them take care of me and help me to get around the house when I need to. Keegan has been so sweet to help me get around the house, he won’t even let me get up except to use the bathroom or to stretch my legs for a short time. Chapter Thirty-Three Keegan I can feel the light trying to shine through into my eyes and I feel the warmth of the sun on my face, I can also feel the warmth of something else all along my body. This is strange because normally when I’m in my bed, I’m the only one in my bed. When I manage to open my eyes and I see beautiful, long dark hair draped along my arm and when I look to see the face of the beauty laying on my chest, I can’t keep the smile off my face. Chapter Thirty- Four Keegan When I make it back to Destiney, she gives me a look that asks what that was about, and I gently throw my arm over her shoulder and kiss her forehead and tell her that she doesn’t need to worry about it. That I am hers and I always will be for as long as she will have me. We make our way back out to the main hall and towards our lockers to swap out the books for the next class. After we all swap out or books, we slowly make our way to the next class and I’m thankful we all have this class together. It gives me peace of mind because I can keep an eye of Destiney and I can’t wait to be done with today and take my girl home to relax and cuddle up with her in bed. Chapter Thirty-five Keegan I make my way back to Destiney on the couch and when I see her scarfing down the ice cream, I let out a laugh and tell her she needs to save some for me, but she gives me a look of ‘I don’t think so.’ Before I sit back down there is another knock on the door and I turn back to go open the door again and when I open it, I see Tyler, Trevor and Hannah standing there with a pissed off look in their eyes. I already know whatever they have to say isn’t good, but I also know Hannah is here to see Des, and I also know that these two knuckleheads have been following Hannah around like two little lost puppies, I wonder if she is dating one of them or both of them yet.
