“I guess we both lose.” Ayesha shook her head, sitting up on the chair and stretching her limbs to aid with the soreness.

The movie had ended after an hour and thirty-plus minutes, and she had spent a good part of that time twisting and turning her body one way and another to find a comfortable spot. Dimitri was basically the same. He groaned as he twisted his neck back and forth, shaking his fingers up to return circulation to them after a long time of resting his head on the back of his hand.

“I am surprised it wasn’t the butler.” He said as he stretched his legs.

“Oh, that would have been too obvious. I told you so.”

“How would it have been too obvious?”

“He was the one who invited them in, the first to arrive, the butler? He had the keys to the plays and was the most likely to know all the secret passages. Everyone would think it was him.”

“What if they wanted you to think he was too obvious?”

“I guess in this case… they didn’t.”
