Chapter 49

Judah's POV

Aurelia's mop of brown hair lay uncomfortably on the window, her styled hair had loosened while we were at the beach and she hadn't bothered to fix it up. Her long lashes flickered gently from time to time, her lips pursed then opened softly as she snored lightly.

We had gotten home almost ten minutes ago but I didn't know why I couldn't bring myself to wake her up. She had fallen asleep almost immediately after we left the beach. I could see that she was uncomfortable but she looked so at peace that I couldn't dare to disturb her. It was quite late, almost midnight so I couldn't blame her for falling asleep.

I was torn between waking her up and saving her from a massive neck pain tomorrow, or letting her sleep a little while longer and waking up with an aching neck. She twisted in her seat trying to find a more comfortable spot and she let out a little groan of pain.
