Déjà vu

Sam put the phone on loud speaker and came over to where she was sitting on the bed with Alex practically molded to her body. As soon as Sam sat beside her on the bed, the child scooted to the far end of the bed, where he cowered in fear. Sandra felt tears spring to her eyes.
