Kira was awoken from her sleep by rushed footsteps and loud yelling. She knew immediately that something was wrong. She rose from her bed and rushed outside, opening the door she found guards and some maids all running in the same direction, she was quick to notice that they were all going to Alex's Chambers, the panicked expression on their faces was enough to tell her that whatever had happened must have been serious. She thought of Alex who she had seen that day, she felt worry coerce through her as she also followed the people, she had to make sure that her friend was alright.

A hand pulled her into an embrace. Kira struggled against the hold but froze in her actions when she saw who it was. Zayn was looking down at her with worry in his eyes, she didn't try to get away because she knew he wouldn't hurt her. He was the only person she could rely on in Moon-Dust, he treated her very well and Kira only had respect for the man.
