"When? What are you talking about?" Alex looked so confused at that moment as if he didn't understand the language his friend was speaking at all.

The mere mention of the nightmarish dinner prepared by the boss's wife made his face turn green as if he had just drunk at least a glass of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
It's good that she left for work right after their arrival. They didn't have to eat her food because they would probably get sick. They ordered Chinese food instead.
