98: Archaic Belonging

The clash was sharp and sudden, like a thunderbolt splitting the air, and yet it echoes on, the sound elongating and fading into a low rumble. This sound was more familiar.

"Someone else is here too?" Grisha uttered in surprise, "Was I being followed!!"

Grisha immediately took cover, opposite to the source of the sound, her hand tightly gripping her sword. Although she had no reason to hide, her instincts were screaming otherwise. The sky had already lost its color. The woods under the glossy night sky screaming ghastly ambience.

Grisha's heart raced as the metallic sounds grew louder. She quickly ducked into the woods, hiding behind a tree as she tried to catch her breath. The symphony of clanging metal sounded like the burning essence of an ongoing battle and it was coming closer.
