Creed had finally returned to his own quarters in the public shelter. The Malaka hunt had exhausted him both mentally and physically.
This hunt was by far the tedious out of all the previous ones. Not only did he burden himself with rigorous physical labor inside the forest, but he also had to bring his Phantom's persona in order to deal with the Malaka.
Interestingly, by the time Phantom made an appearance, Creed's actual body had already switched positions with his radix clone. Therefore, inside the black armor was Creed himself, whereas the one who stood next to Rain was actually the clone.

Creed made a new discovery after meeting a little-gobbler. The stupid bird has learned to hide his presence. That is the reason why Creed was caught off guard after entering the cave.
