“Where are we going?”

“The dungeons.”

Ava’s mouth dropped open. “Now?”

“I thought I told you to stop questioning me.”

Ava rolled her eyes and followed him. “Fine.”

“Five.”

“Five what?” she asked.

“Five times you’ve rolled your eyes at me tonight. I’m fairly sure as many times as you have watched that damn Fifty Colors movie that you know Dom’s don’t like that.”

“Do you mean Fifty Shades? How do you know I like that movie?”

“Six and I told you to stop asking questions.”

“Why are you counting?” she said with an exasperated sigh, annoyed he was being so commanding.

“Seven. You’ll see exactly why I’m counting if you don’t stop that.”

Rolling her eyes again he added, “Eight.”

Leading her down a long corridor to a room with the door slightly ajar, two guards were standing in wait. Nodding to the Master to acknowledge his presence, they watched as Ava curiously listened in the doors that lined the halls.

“I wonder what they’re doing in there?”

Hunter groaned, making Ava bite back a giggle.
